Magnificent. The difference between PCs & Macs for Ballmer :

The economy is helpful. Paying an extra $500 for a computer in this environment — same piece of hardware — paying $500 more to get a logo on it? I think that’s a more challenging proposition for the average person than it used to be.

The difference between PCs & Macs for us :

OS.

I’m worried. I’m worried about something that is—actually—nice. And I’m sorry to write something against the development of this project. It’s all about PICOL. But, what is PICOL ?

PICOL stands for Pictorial Communication Language
and is a project to find a standard and reduced sign
system for electronic communication. PICOL is free
to use and open to alter

First of all, I want to say that I approve this project. I like the idea, it’s nice and smart. But there’s a “but”.

When you look, for the first time, at the icons, you’ll probably be impressed; the work is perfect, all the icons you’ve could think about are included. Then, you’ll imagine you could have made these icons, that you’re able to make greater and cooler icons—no. Finally, if you think a lot, you realize there’s something wrong.

Icons shapes are rough, they aren’t modern, this is bothering me. We could’ve done something far more innovative ones. The shapes look like they could have been drawned a century ago. The first thing you’ll think is that our mind has saved too many icons and logos. This is true, ask the nearest graphic designer you can catch. Well, boy, this has to change. I don’t know who is going to design these mystical icons, but I’m confident someone will take care of it someday.

Now, and as always, we should wait & see if the PICOL project is going to work.

Why the Apple Store is closed ?

Why ?

Now this is incredible; TED, Sixth Sense

Is Snow Leopard coming on June 8th ?

Probably. Think, with MacBidouille.

  • Apple has always released new OS on WWDC
  • WWDC always occure in San Francisco
  • The place where the WWDC usually takes place is booked between June the 6th and June the 12th by an anonymous person

So, why not ?

The future as follows Microsoft; 2019.

Insane. Cool. Insane. Cool.

Bookmarks feast — February – Early March

It’s not very organized, but I haven’t got much time to write stuff over here since March begun. So these are the links I want you to check. These are important.

What do you learn when you’re away from the Web for 11 days

Well,

  • I’ve learned how good it is to be back.
  • I always thought that it was better to stay connected even when you’re not at home or at the place you work. In fact, no. It’s stupid and stubborn
  • I didn’t read tech news during this period and now that I’m back, I feel way more comfortable and prepared.
  • 11 days of vacation clears your head.

That’s it. And you must believe me. It’s better the way it is.
