iPhone jailbreak stuck with “waiting for reboot” with Redsn0w ? Easy solution

As I said in a previous post, I prefer to use Dev-Team’s software to hack my iPhone. Yesterday, while I was trying to jailbreak an iPhone, it stucked during the process with Redsn0w saying: waiting for reboot. Credits to a  guy on a MacRumors forum, the solution is simple.

Unplug your iPhone and then plug it back very quickly to the USB port. The iPhone screen will go white and the process will continue normally.

How to jailbreak/unlock your iPhone 3G/S

I won’t publish a tutorial because iClarified is perfectly simple and clear. So, I’ll simply direct you.
Jailbreak iPhone 3G on Mac OS or Windows. Jailbreak iPhone 3GS on Mac OS or Windows. Unlock it (3G/3GS/Mac OS/Windows).

You’ll notice that I only chose Dev-Team’s methods. That’s because I liked Geohot, but now… Sure, he’s a great hacker, but come on dude; you can’t put a photo of you will the jailbreak is processing and you can’t think of yourself as “the” iHacker.

You know, a few times ago, I was wondering, where is Geohot ? Who’s Geohot ? He’s the first guy in the world to unlock, in a hardware way, the iPhone. I mean the first one. So, I went on his blog and I saw that he was actually working with the Dev Team (the team behind all the recent jailbreak/unlock programs) to jailbreak the iPhone 3GS. That’s great news, and especially for me. But why ? Simply because I have a problem syncing my iPhone 3GS with iPhoto, it doesn’t recognize my phone. So I’ll jailbreak it, and then I’ll connect via SSH and I’ll manually drag and drop the files.

What is jailbreak, what is unlock and what’s SSH ? Folks, if you want to become a pure iPhone specialist, you’ll want me to show you these two websites HackThatPhone and iPhone Alley, both created by my friend
